Alert Message

BaseAlert’s digital platform connects to an activation center that simultaneously activates various warning tools, including the public address systems. Benefits to emergency responders and local administrators include more reliable and higher quality transmission of alerts and audio to the public, and continuous monitoring of the equipment status. Emergency responders will no longer stay in the dark about message delivery — immediate feedback is available.

BaseAlert’s PA component easily enables authorized users from different locations to activate Public Address systems as necessary.

BaseAlert provides PA stations with targeted message based on the location in the facility or organizational affiliation.

How it works

BaseAlert reliably polls the server for any new alert. When a new alert is posted, the alerting policy as configured by the local administrator checks compliance and, if appropriate, activates the PA system with the corresponding sound or voice message.

In addition, through relay closures additional tools may be activated: strobe lights, road signs, gates, etc.

Optional Analog and Digital inputs allow BaseAlert to monitor the status of PA system components and any external sensors, and report them back to the control center.
